We are raising money for our annual college tour to make it free for all participants!

Montgomery County OIC hosts an annual Spring Break HBCU College Tour for high school students seeking higher education upon graduation. This 4-5 day tour provides an all-inclusive tour to historically black colleges and universities in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. While attending the college tour, students stay overnight in various cities and our dedicated team of chaperones guide them through their college tour and selection process. Many students conclude our tour with scholarships and acceptance to the schools we attend. The purpose of our college tour series is to empower young teens to make informed college decisions and pursue higher education. 95% of our students that attend our tour are black or multicultural.

To ease the financial burden of attending the tour, we are seeking sponsorships to support our 2023 Spring Break HBCU College Tour. This year’s tour will take place from April 2nd - April 7th, 2023. We will visit over a dozen schools in Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia with overnight stays at select hotels in select cities. Sponsorships will cover the cost of lodging, transportation, materials, and meals.

Sponsorship Levels

  • Full Ride - Includes logo on college tour materials, web banner with link, unlimited social media posts, top of t-shirt adverting, name/business acknowledgment at monthly college tour meetings
  • Division I - web banner with link, 10 social media posts, top of t-shirt advertising
  • Homecoming - Web acknowledgment, 1 social media post, and middle of t-shirt advertising
  • Graduate - Includes web acknowledgement and bottom half of t-shirt advertising
  • Undergrad - Includes web acknowledgement
